"Educating Americans about Public Policy
The digital media revolution has transformed the way people obtain information and form opinions. Countless partisan outlets peddle assertions and “sound bites” as indisputable facts. Few people have the knowledge and analytical skills to navigate this torrent of misinformation. They crave credible and accessible sources of facts, analysis, and information about proposed policies and the effects of those already enacted.
The Hoover Institution
"When movements, groups, or organizations become dependent on donations or revenues from sales for their survival, they are not going to cooperate, but they will compete. Cash is the toxic element in the polluted environment of our institutions. Once we agree on that, we must all be able to show that we are not letting cash pollute our charters and our commitment to the missions we pursue. Organizations committed to change need to prove to their members, that they are able to cooperate, and have the courage to shut down their operations if they can't deliver"

Shareable
"Shareable is a nonprofit online magazine that tells the story of sharing. We cover the people, places, and projects bringing a shareable world to life. And we share how-tos so you can make a shareable world real in your life.
In a shareable world, things like clothing swaps, childcare coops, potlucks, carsharing, community gardens, and cohousing make life more fun, green, and affordable. When we share, not only is a better life possible, but so is a better world.
